Note that by default, the Connect category is hidden, as all tools within it are deprecated. As a result, you cannot see these tools unless you specifically choose to view Deprecated Tools in Designer.
Deprecation of Connect JSON Builder and Connect Output Tools
The Connect JSON Builder and Connect Output tools have been officially deprecated and moved from the Laboratory category to the Connect category in Designer. These tools were experimental and not officially supported by Alteryx.
Used in metadata loaders for generating a JSON for Connect API v2.0.
The Connect Output v2.0 tool is used in metadata loaders to send metadata to the Connect API v2.0.
